Local congregations are developing a system to receive donated furniture and household items and distribute them to those who need it. In partnership with other local service organizations, Micah has secured a 2550 sq. ft. warehouse for storage and started putting together some volunteer teams to help with the collection and distribution.
What you need to know about getting involved
To let us know you have items to donate:

Pick ups are available primarily on Saturdays, but drop offs directly at the warehouse may also be arranged through the above contact.
Most Needed Items:
• Beds (frame, headboard/foot board and gently used mattresses)
• Dressers
• Sofa, Loveseat or Chair
• Dining room tables and chairs
• End tables and lamps

The first pickups are scheduled for April 22 and 29. We are looking for groups that are willing to be available at least once a month. You do not have to have a truck to participate, but someone on the team must have access to one (this can include renting a U-haul–ask us for details).
